  • OOOh lots of lovely goodies today ladies .

Re the mints with the 2" punches i had a few bags they wouldn't squeeze into but mostly they did very slowly and carefully though. Smart thinking using the smaller plain circles on the back .

I found some today in Morrisons on BOGOF - packs of 12 for 1.69 so you end up with 24 for £1.69. and they are individually wrapped which saves on bags :)

Oh excellent I shall pop up there tomorrow :D thanks for letting us know

I never cease to be amazed by all the great makes on here - well done everyone!

I have spent the afternoon making these boxes for some of my pressies.
Will be making the Candy Cane Puzzle (did I see that on this thread or another?) to go in the special box, and I have printed gold labels with instructions to go on the bags

  • Hi folks!

I was in B&M yesterday and they have boxes of candy canes for 99p.
They also have sweeties that are called snowballs which are good for snowman poop (50% extra free in bag at the moment too) I dont know what they taste like but they are chocolate with a white crispy shell.

I was going to ask about using chocolate coins instead of Elizabeth Shaw mints. I notice that its now been done and they look good so am relieved as I couldnt find ES mints anywhere so got 2 bags of choccie coins instead. Punches are on their way - hooray!!

p.s I was shopping with my Mum yesterday and found myself rabbitting on about reindeer poop like it was a standard thing that everyone talks about. She now thinks Im going mad!
  • I have been reading this thread for the past few days and am very impressed with everyone's Christmas crafts! Would love to try and make some home made gifts myself this year so grabbing lots of tips from you all, thanks :D I have a few questions if anyone can help...

The reindeer poop bags - very cute! How do you cut the label so neatly, can they be bought somewhere? What size of bags do you use and where do you buy them?

Q for craft shoppers - where can I buy small cheap canvases from? I managed some big ones from the 99p shop but cant find any small ones (roughtly 5" by 5") - any ideas?

And I asked a little while ago about painting over acrylic paint with varnish - anyone know where I can get cheap varnish?

    Many thansk in advance ;)
