Hi Charlotte, Im new to this thread too but have read it all and there are a couple of tutorials that seem simple to follow. The calendar coasters look like a nice and fairly easy idea and I saw that one of the members (really sorry can't remember who :o) posted a picture of one that their child had made :)

And maybe the reindeer poop for their friends?

where would i get the little calenders from and pastic bags to use for sweets etc? not many shops where i live and i dont drive so internet shopping, mostly ebay is great for me

I just looked online at where the stores are! I have a good mind to email them and ask them what is wrong with the Midlands and why haven't they got any stores there. My nearest one is apparently Salford and Liverpool which are over 51 and 61 miles away respectively! Thats just TOO far for a bit of card!

I broke up from work yesterday (I am a student nurse so placement really) and I promised myself that once I did I would get on the case of preparing for Christmas properly. So I hopefully will get my a$$ into gear within the next week, as I also need to dedicate some serious time to flying and cleaning the house out!

    Definately in on the challenge.

    :A
In fact I have emailed them today at 7:11am asking them why they have no stores in central England and are we unclean??? (actually I didn't ask about our hygiene status lol)
Any answer? My nearest one is Street...61 miles away...been playing with a £30+ order (free delivery then)...not spending today, though considering tomorrow :o

    Wow...added to my favourites!!

Now off to get some crafting started!

Bought this sideboard on Monday (£40) from the Red Cross Furniture shop.

I have cleaned it and have now filled it with lots of craft stuff that I have found all round the house :o. i want to strip it down and either wax or varnish it. I had planned on painting it, but I rather like the wood, looks like it is oak. Anyway, that won't get done until after Christmas! :o

Now I know what have, I can start to have a play.

Still waiting for my stamps from craftfairy, but will have a go at Reindeer poo today I think...and perhaps some cards...though I am waiting for blank cards..they are due to arrive today :j

This thread is sooo inspiring....thankyou everyone for all your input.

Not sure if this has been posted cos I haven't read the back posts yet. I called in at Rymans this morning looking for a white signo pen and they have them in there for £2.29 BOGOF

ALDI have bags of Christmas Mallows 225g 99p marshmallows shaped like snowmen. I have tried to count how many in a packet but the bag is mostly blue lol I would say there are more than 20 and probably need 2 per snowman soup if you are doing the bag ones like flying pigs.

    Hi All,

In tesco (am I allowed to say that?) on the Christmas decoration section there is a little box of 10 angels ( they are wooden with pink swirls on them) for £1. I have covered one in white sparkly paper and it looks really good. They already have tags on for hanging and I thought would be nice to put on the front of one of the sweet bags (maybe Angel kisses)

If one of the poets could come up with a ditty about the Angel being a reminder every year of sweet kisses.......
