Dear Santander
Just wanted to say a massive thank you for being so helpful to me this week. Thanks for treating me like something u just stepped in and cant get me off your shoes.
Thanks for the excellent customer service in your branch. Where i explained to the lady at the help desk what i wanted to do and she directed me to the cashiers. I then queued for 15 minutes to set up a standing order and transfer some money into another santander account on which you gave me some forms and told me to go away because you couldnot do it there. Even though the form clearly said tranfers from a santander account to a non santander account. Funny how when i went to your other branch 2 minutes away from this one it took the lady at the counter less then 5 minutes to do the job you said you could not do.
Thanks for blocking my card last night. When i tried to buy a handbag for £55 having ample amount of money but you declined the transaction claiming it was fradulent even though the company is a big established brand. You then had your machine ring me this morning asking me to tap all my personal numbers in to it. And when i rang you up to unblock my card, you told me your machines where down and i must ring back later this afternoon. Since i had no food i thought it best to ring back sooner. Thanks for the 90 minutes it took me and 30 phone calls to every department under the sun to unblock my card. And when asked why you declined my card in the first place ( no overdraft facility every penny i have is mine and no payments have ever bounced)- it was the machine we dont know. I love the terminator. Seems like what sarah conner said was true all along. Machines have become 'aware' and are now doing what they want- taking over santander bank accounts. Guess im off to town now, to get some combat pants and boots, if you think its ok for me to spend my money now.
Thank you:j

It's really nice to hear someone talking positively about... Oh wait, that was sarcasm, how clever.Anything I post is my opinion, so from time to time I may be wrong. I try to provide answers based in fact, however I don't know everything, so (like all posters on MSE), take what I say with a pinch of salt.0

Just close your account now, so far you've got off lightly.0

Indeed - if all they've done is refused your card (for no real reason other than they felt like it) then you've done pretty well.
I suggest you try the lottery tonight, because you are THE CHOSEN ONE!0 -
