If you ever purchase something untoward then check the sellers rating and thus recent transactions.
A couple of times Ive bought things which werent legit and by double checking the sellers feedback Ive spotted they themselves originally purchased it from ebay!!
The biggest con I faced was a guy claiming he never received concert tickets for a gig. I searched his completed auctions and the weasel had unsuccessfully attempted to sell them on at a profit. With the gig in a matter of days he then decided to claim he never got them from me in the first place!!! Funny how his listing had a more recent pic of them tho eh!!!
Watch out!!! Whenever you see a seller selling a random item which could be fake or suspicious, check the feedback to see they didnt buy it on ebay themselves!
