Is TV damage due to leak from roof covered?

I've looked online and I dont think that the rain coming through the roof and then through the ceiling and dripping down the back of the TV to break it is covered on my AA home insurance, but I wondered if anyone could confirm this? I specified the TV as an item in excess of £1,500 and I took out the optional extra cover for accidental damage.
So now the TV doesnt work and I need to claim but have a bad feeling it will come under something to do with heavy rain (ingress or something) and is therefore not covered?!
Help!!

If you have accidental damage cover you should be ok. They might question whether there is a maintenance issue with the property, so it might not be that straightforward.
