You could have a look in the event viewer to see if there is anything there that tells you why it rebooted.

It's hard to stop it happening again if you don't know what caused it in the first place.
It's my problem, it's my problem
If I feel the need to hide
And it's my problem if I have no friends
And feel I want to die

It could be anything from a imentent hardware failure, to the computer getting too hot, to software badly coded, to a power spike.

If this just happened the once, don't worry too much but do back up important files.

My initial thought (seen as you say you keep upto date with adware / av etc..) was heat.

is your comp sitting on carpet? Is it close to the wall? If so you may need to open the case & get the dust outta there! (Try a can of compressed air & then do some hoovering once you have got dust everywhere!).

In fact, even if your PC isn't near carpet - and is sitting on lamenated flooring (for example) it never hurts to quite literally 'clean out' your pc every now & then.
