""I guess the way he operates is to buy your house then charge you rent." -
this is known as Sale And Rent Back (SARB)and since this year anyone offering this service has to be registered with the FSA - having jumped through many many Compliances hoops to get registered .. not to mention having to have a huge cash fund.... ....
Lease Options are very different0 -

why not make a gross unsubstantiated generalisation then ?0 -
There are some very good people offering this type of deal, and some complete rouges.
Complete your due dilligence on the person and company you are dealing with, dot all the i's and cross all the t's.
Get everything that is important to you on the deal in writing.
Good luck0 -
It looks like you have convinced yourself. However, advice like "The registrant is a non-trading individual who has opted to have their address omitted from the WHOIS service" is just what MSE is good for. I would take it very seriously that he is registered as a non trading individual. The ful trading address is showing on the website, I do not see a problems with no details on WHOIS.
I have done a lot of research on the chap who I have been speaking with and he seems to be genuine - havent found anything negative on the internet - he appears to have been trading in this company since Aug 2009 according to his twitter & blog & facebook pages and appears to be very open about what he does.
He is also on Linkenden - with all his details about what he is about
I cannot find anything bad about this man or his company - looks like he does some kind of "Lease Option purchasing" which is a practice which has been going on in Austrailia and the USA for some time.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. So you are basing your trust entirely on what this man has written about himself on free internet sites? He says he has been trading since August last year but Companies House states otherwise?
Erm, good luck.0
