Barclays Basic Account & Paypal setup?

Hey,my first post here .

Few questions i hope you guys can help me out with.

Is the Barclays basic cash card account (Visa debit card) a eligble account to use when adding & verifying bank in paypal?

If so,paypal asks for the Bank name do i use: Barclays,Barclays bank,Barclays bank PLC or Barclays PLC?

It also ask for branch and branch address do i use the local branch i went into to open the account?

Any input and advice will be great.
P.S. Hope this is in the right section, sorry if it is not.

Yes, you can set up direct debits on the account and can therefore set up bank funding on Paypal.

Always use the following address when setting up a direct debit, if you are a Personal customer: Barclays, Leicester, LE87 2BB.

Hey,thanks for the info iblametheparents,hoping to get more help and clarification if you or anyone else can help.

I watched a video on youtube and also a tutorial on a website on how add a bank and it says put the branch name,branch location and the the address,i would like to know what info i should put in blank areas also if any corrections need to be made.

This is how i partially assume it should look like in paypal from the help so far from iblametheparents:

If you could look over that iblametheparents or anyone else and tell me if thats the info paypal are wanting also what i should put for the missing branch section i was thinking it may be the branch where i opened the account,not really sure.

I have seen in other threads that you branch name is on your statements but i only have online statements,so that wasnt really a option.

Sorry for the long post just dont want to mess up as i have read some people have been refused bank set up for giving incorrect detail in the paypal setup.

Anymore help will greatly appreciated.

Use the address I gave you but in the branch section put the name of the branch you opened your account in.
