well npower always try to hassle me when I go to my local Asda (I really don't know why they bother, we live in Birmingham, so Npower is the most expensive supplier) but I just tell them I have switched from npower as they are the most expensive and i don't have gas, which is the other thing they try to sell me.
They say ok then when i tell them that....
Indecision is the key to flexibility :)
  • lol i am dual fuel with n power but they still keep coming round at all hours telling me i'd be getting a better deal by switching!
coupon over here, coupon over there, every crack filled with coupons even down there
    (meaning under the buggy lol):D
  • Yes I do. But now when people doorstep - Im thinking of saying I don't have gas or electricity. To the double glazers - on fone or doorstep - I say I don't have any windows or doors. I told cold caller on phone that i didn't have a phone. But I find the Npower particularly persistent, arrogant and vaguely threatening
  • tell them you dont own the house. you are waiting for him/her to come back or are renting

I'm going to very cautiously put my head over the parapet here....
    I work for npower. *duck*

OK now that's over with. First, I don't work in a part of the company that deals with this, so don't shoot me! But I do know that we take this very seriously and have a very dim view of salesmen who are aggressive, overly persistent or otherwise behave rudely.

If you have a problem with this, then ask for the name of the salesman and contact npower; ideally by email to complaints@npower.com and tell them when and where you were called.

Just say 'I'M NOT INTERESTED THANK YOU" and shut the door.

Same with cold callers on the telephone, then put phone down before they can come back with anything. I do this now and I don't think its rude, as I did say thank you! and I didn't ask them to call, did I?

Don't let them engage you in conversation and waste your time! If you wanted a new energy supplier you would research and find them yourself wouldn't you?

Several times in this thread you have accused me of being a Spammer and a T-Plus Salesperson.

    I am neither.

All i did was point out in post no 13 in this thread that a T-Plus Spammer was at work.So i dont see how you think i spammed you, as you allege in post 22.

Perhaps you would care to remove your comments.

I have to say, I do sometimes take great delight in asking the person (a) where they got my number [I'm on the telephone preference service] and (b) if I can call them back later. They always say no, and it's great to finish with "why, don't you like being called at home"? :p

  • the original message I got from someone calling themselves ******had this in the post. It is a different thread altogether from the one you mentioned and was followed by a saying that the message had been removed. If you are saying that the ****** who sent me this stuff :
**********************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************was not you - then my critcisms were directed to the other ******. I note that the posts indeed were removed. I have noticed that spam has decreased. I cannot help you with this matter any further.
