    If you only access you hotmail account from the web, then there is probably nothing amiss in your computer. You hotmail account has been compromised I suspect, change the password for a start and see what happens, also check the settings to see if all is as it should be.

    yes how do you use hotmail, through the web? or do you use a program like Live Mail, outlook, or thunderbird?

    if you only use the web through your browser it is likely all you need to do is change your password and security question. if you use a program you should run the antivirus programs listed above AND change your password and security question.

    Internet bowser www.hotmail.com sign in with your credentials.

    Well, i changed my password and tonight i'm blocked from using it as someone has tried too many times to get in.

    that means someone knew you password before, good thing you changed it.

    they might have got it from a dodgy site you put in your password, guessed it (if it was weak) or from a keylogger.
    have you confirmed your computer is not infected with a virus or keylogger? so they cannot steal it again. (presuming that's how they got it before)

    How does one find out if the PC is infected with a keylogger?
    Will AV or Malwarebytes pick it up?
