I've lost my battery indicator (Dell Inspiron)

I have a 17" Dell Inspiron laptop. Yesterday, I appeared to have lost the battery indicator that's usually in the task bar near the clock. There's an arrow I can click on to show other icons - the battery indicator isn't in there. I know that if I press F3, I can have my battery indicator running in the background.

However, the battery indicator doesn't tell me how many minutes / hours there is remaining (it just shows the percentage) or when there's 10% battery left. It only tells me when 5% left.

I've had a look on the Dell website; but can't find what I'm looking for.

Thank you in advance.

If previous suggestion doesn't work, go to Control Panel and find something like Power Options, Advanced tab, and click on the box before "Always show icon on taskbar".

That's for XP; Vista and Windows 7 will be somewhat different, but the same principle applies!
