Even the so called "specialist insurers "are quoting around £500 after they`ve seen the valuation.I can`t find out who were the previous insurers and my mortgage lender want around £500 to insure me as well.I could really do without paying for a SER as money is quite tight.Has anyone got any more suggestions? Surely movement must be mentioned on lots of valuation reports.0

Yes movement is often mentioned on reports.
Can you scan the mortgage valuation (remove all identifiers) and post a link to a photobucket file.
We can then have a look to see what is on the report and maybe suggest the best way forward.The comments I post are personal opinion. Always refer to official information sources before relying on internet forums. If you have a problem with any organisation, enter into their official complaints process at the earliest opportunity, as sometimes complaints have to be started within a certain time frame.0 -
