ok, first of all i probably sound really stupid!
i'm moving in to a student house (was in one last year but someone else sorted everything out!).
my landlord has just given me the phone number and told me its BT. Anyways i've rung it and its not connected, just get that dead annoying tone!
I guess therefore last years tenants disconnected/cancelled it.
We only want the BT line for broadband. We don't want a phone, however if we do have to have one it will be for incoming calls only.
Does anyone know the cost of this or how i go about sorting it out?
I only rang the phone as tiscali website said we couldn't get broadband with them and it seemed a bit odd when two streets down you can!
