Cheap London Hotel in November

I have a friend visiting London in November and looking for somewhere cheap to stay that is within easy reach of the tube network. Does anyone have any recommendations of hotels or perhaps any chains that are doing a discount right now?

The Dockland Travelodge is normally the cheapest of all the London Travelodges's. We stayed in Dec last year and it is nice and clean and has everything you need.
It is a very short walk to the outdoor tube station that then takes you underground to the main tube lines.
I paid £30 for a family room, not sure it this was an offer price or not but even if it was I think the full price is quite reasonable.0 -
