Can anyone advise me the best way to get this:
We would like cable to the kids t.v's in their room and freeview that is intergrated in the t.v. downstairs. Think we would need an upgraded arial for this.
We want internet broadband with unlimited use hopefully with free wireless connection to another computer in the house.
We want telephone with free evening and week end calls.
At the moment we have Telewest and are paying £25 for broadband, t.v. basic package for £11.50, tlephone line rental £11.00 and eve & weekends calls £5.50. When I read what other people are paying it seems that we are paying too much, but it seems such a hassle to change it all.
I would be grateful for any advice.
Would we be better with sky? Could we use freeview through sky dish?

My personal experience with ntl is that the call centres are flexible.
"Upgraded" 11/8/06 to 3 for £30. Includes free weekend calls.
Checked my bill; still being charged for weekends PLUS (8.40 for TV, £11 for phone and £17.99 for 1mb BB.
Rang 0800 052 9403 at Coventry (which is soon to close and move the workload to Sheffield) and complained about the bill, saying I was thinking of switching to TalkTalk and Freeview.
I got the ramble about the tie-ins for TT, but the nice lady gave me Family Pack, Talk24 and 4 mb BB for £28.99 for 3 months.
So; free phone calls 24hrs X 7 days? GO FOR IT!0 -

I'll try to haggle.

Get yourself a Sky Freesat card, e.g. here.

I am in the process of moving from Sky+ to Freeview....have them both at the moment as when I cancelled my Sky+, I got a call with a few days to go offering my same package (sports) for £5 per month for 4 months....had to take advantage.
However, I have gone to freeview (through the aerial), this is better for me as I put in an 8 way aerial booster in my loft and ran cables to various rooms in the house. I now have freeview in 5 rooms (2 lounges and 3 bedrooms). Lots of LCD's etc, come with a digitial tuner built in so this is ideal for me, can finally get rid of that ugly sky dish of my wall when my £5 for 4 months runs out.....
Costs for me to install, Topfield 250GB PVR £279 (not needed but brilliant) aerial supplied and fitted £70, 8 way booster £30, 100m RG6 cable £16. Will pay for itself after so many months of no Sky+.
You don't need the Topfield, I chose this for recording and PC connection...quality box if you are used to Sky+ (others are available), so you could do this cheaply if you have integtrated digital tuners already, if not, you can pick them up for around £20.0
