Hiya :-)
Just formatted and reinstalled, to then find adobe flash player 10.1 update is causing problems ... I could download youtube before format ... now cos of adobe update, I can't ... tried allsorts ... got the proper uninstallers for both IE and FF, and did clean install of only 10.1 update ... STILL nothing fixed ... can't solve this ... would much appreciate advice.
Many thanks, Cat

Some people prefer to avoid using Adobe DLM and instead use:-
The uninstaller, first.

Then do a manual install, it's about a third the way down this page.

It worked OK for me a few days ago.:)Download Flash Player with the manual installer When you download and install Flash Player from the Adobe Flash Player Download Center, the download uses the Adobe Download Manager. Instead of using the Adobe Download Manager, you can download and run the Flash Player installer manually.0 -

Hi i8change, many thanks for advice and links. Just done clean install of both IE and FF again ... from the page you linked to, I realised I hadn't rebooted between installs! Now it's working!
Best regards, Cat0
