Was just thinking...
How much is the discount to pay by direct debit? About 10% usually?
I was wondering if it would be worth paying with a '0% on purchases' credit card instead...?

It varies from co to co. My supplier gives 6% on the fuel element of the charges. As I am on a *no standing charge* scheme its 6% on the lot.
To see what a discount is woth in %age terms you need to look at the T&Cs and your personal usage inorder to do the calculation.
What tariff are you on and annual consumption? I'll run an eye if you want.0 -
Actually, I'm just thinking of changing, as I'm sure Southern Electric are taking the **** more then the others do...
If it is 6% (or higher) then it is worth sticking to the DD payments...
Thanks for your help...0 -
