  • Me again! :/ I've just had a call from my mum saying that one of the ladies who works with her wants to order but hasnt had time to look and wants to order on Friday...
I dont know how additional orders work, is Friday too late? She is one of my best customers, ordered every campaign so far so I dont want to say no but dont know what to do :/

When's your order due? Is it before Friday?

I'd be honest and say ...
"I've just submitted an order on x date, and my next order is due on x date. You can either wait until x date, or I can put in an additional order which will arrive within 7-10 working days, but the cost will be £2.50 delivery."

And leave it up to them. Hopefully they'll wait as if you put in an additional order for under £78 you won't get any commission on it.

But if they want delivery by Christmas they might not wait ...

My order is going in tonight and is due for delivery next Tuesday. I think I will ask her if she can wait til next delivery which is before christmas, but i guess it depends what she wants (stock issues!) Otherwise I may have to ask my SL to put it through with her order next week

    Hello Ladies,

just looking for some advice. Myself and my girlfriend are working together selling avon. We signed up about 3 weeks ago. We were designated 2 roads nearby which were supposed to be free i.e. no other avon rep had been given these roads.

When i went out canvassing door to door i found out through speaking to the residents that another avon rep had been posting catalogues through their letterboxes.

This isn't a major issue yet; most of the people i spoke to said they'd rather order through us as we made the effort to introduce ourselves rather than just bung a catalogue through the door and hope for the best. But it is a bit embarrassing and makes us as well as avon look unprofessional.

Our area leader said she would see what she could do but we didnt hear anything, this person is still putting catalogues through.

Is this common? is there anything we can do?

This happens quite a lot. I've just started with Avon in the last few weeks and one of the streets I was given as territory already had a rep doing it. As the street in question is a bit rough, I was quite happy to leave the rep doing it and I've since been given streets that are not covered - including one with a lot of new houses, some of which haven't got occupants yet (you can see the potential there :D)

I would get on to your ASM or SL again and ask them to get it sorted out for you or give you streets that are not being covered.

Good luck and hope you get everything sorted out :)
  • Well thats my c.18 submitted... about £300 worth submitted, half of which is customer orders, the rest is things I order for gifts and things for this stall. Not very happy about this campaign :( hoping my stall will get me a few new customers otherwise this isnt going to be worth while for me. Shame because I like doing it.
  • ....I just read on connects that lots of people who have submitted orders in last 48hrs are getting OOS on the free christmas gift too...

is this the shimmering set you get free when you spend over £12 on make up and fragrance?? if so ive got 2 on order, one for a customer and one for me for my stall!
