Going quite well thanks, I've got a contact sheet made up so people can leave their details for a brochure, got leaflets printed up with my details & a discount code on, business cards, magnets. Still toying with this idea of the paper bags with a few bits in, samples & business info etc.
Ordered lots of the cheaper bits/ stocking fillers. tried to do it so it worked out with free gifts etc too ask that will be handy to boost up my stock.

C18 still not as good as I thought it would be but owt is better than nowt!

c.18 is awful for me... I've had 3 orders!! My mum takes a book to work with her and leaves it there until the last day and I ususally get 2-4 orders from there, she is ringing me later to let me know but honestly I'm not expecting to have anything... The orders I have got total just over £100 and I've ordered things for my stall so am technically over HOV but not feeling great about it. I also give my mum practically the discount I get because she orders every time plus gathers orders from work, delivers their items and collects their money so I wont make any discount on her stuff anyway. Basically wont earn this campaign unless I get a good few orders this afternoon Gutting really. I guess when you have no territory these issues are going to come up...
Think I might have to find out about this f&f & the no target thingy... May be an idea for after christmas.
Shame cos I've put a lot of time and effort into advertising my services on fb, netmums etc, and have really tried to get more customers but because of being stuck in the house 6 days a week I cant do anywhere near as much as I want
Oh well - lets hope my stall goes well and things pick up

I know what you mean... Still miffed about the 5 stockings that wont be coming. Typical with a new customer. Not like I have any spare customers that I can afford to lose

I've got a few free gifts in this order but lots of the free things have yellow dots, I know thats not necessarily a problem but hat do I do if the free things dont come? Customers probably increased their order for the freebies- might not go down well if they dont come!

Just got another order for £12, phew. might just scrape HOV on actual orders if those come in later. Pleeeeeease!!!

Glad yours is going well. There was me thinking I had finished all my ordering then looked at the book again and thought 'oh i could have this, that!'
I've got a note pad that i take with me for any ideas i may have! someone gave me a good idea. to section the table into different catorgies, eg skin and body, hair, face- make up stocking fillers etc.

the idea for the paper bags with samples etc sounds a good idea at least they have something for there bits to go in.

I received my order yesterday and a whole bottle of sss bath oil had leaked all over 1 box :mad: . The delivery driver said when he gave it to me "I think something might have leaked"" He wasn't kidding. what a mess.

So 1 box was completely ruined and in the other boxes loads of stuff was out of stock.

I am begining to think that Avon are not really interested in reps any more.

They only seem to care about online sales and expanding their community blogs so they can get all our customers to sign up then deal with them directly thereby cutting out our 25%. Am I paranoid or what but it would make business sense to them as the rep turnover is massive. Largly due to asm's not doing a good job with territory.

Where I live 5 reps gave up last year and one had been doing it 10 years, another 6 years, they were fed up with the fact that we have had 4 asm's in the last 2 years and they were all giving territory all over the place to several reps at a time. Their excuse each time was the terrible mess left behind by the previous asm. Talk about pass the buck. The other 3 were newbies that got no help at all.

I am a little rep in the wilderness here now :rotfl:sorry for the vent I just get so mad about the companies couldn't care less pass the buck attitude

ive been looking at the truth/ treasure braclets and one of them comes with a pink bead on already, this may sound like a silly question but can you add beads to that one??

Hello Ladies,

just looking for some advice. Myself and my girlfriend are working together selling avon. We signed up about 3 weeks ago. We were designated 2 roads nearby which were supposed to be free i.e. no other avon rep had been given these roads.

When i went out canvassing door to door i found out through speaking to the residents that another avon rep had been posting catalogues through their letterboxes.

This isn't a major issue yet; most of the people i spoke to said they'd rather order through us as we made the effort to introduce ourselves rather than just bung a catalogue through the door and hope for the best. But it is a bit embarrassing and makes us as well as avon look unprofessional.

Our area leader said she would see what she could do but we didnt hear anything, this person is still putting catalogues through.

Is this common? is there anything we can do?

I dont have much knowledge in this area I'm afraid as I havent even been given streets to do... From what I understand, the territory issue is a big one, its unlikely your ASM will do anything about the other rep canvassing your roads and this is very common so it seems.
If you look back a few pages there are some posts about this kind of thing and suggestions of what you can do. Some reps contact the other rep and let them know they have customers at particular addresses and ask them not to go to them. Not sure if it works or not but there are a few ideas within the thread
