yes, this is correct. You are always given HT 1 campaign ahead.
Moneymakers are products that Avon encourage you to buy in bulk at a reduced price, that you can sell at the full book price, and earn a better profit on. You are charged 2 campaigns after you order them, and can return any unsold. However if you buy something like the Fergie Moneymaker, with the free gifts, you have to return all of it, free gifts included.
no, you get HT 2 camps ahead - it says on the front cover. So HT3 is for ordering in c1.DFBX2016 #160 - £3550/£8800

Forgive me if this is covered elsewhere in the thread but after much searching I haven't been able to find how much Avon charge for their brochures.
I am considering becoming a rep myself and have been very interested in the information you have all posted.0 -

You can get 3 packs of 5 brochures for £4.86 then subsequent packs of 5 cost 48p each. Therefore a brochure costs 32p if buying upto 3 packs and 9p for packs thereafter.
To be honest, the time this costs the most (if you are going to cover territory) is when you are having to canvass new roads and therefore need more brochures. However, when you sign up, your sales leader or area manager should give you 20 books for each of your first 2 campaigns for free to try and keep your start up costs down.
Thereafter, you can be tactical with your brochures by using them multiple times per each 3wk campaign. You also have an admin fee to pay when you first sign up - this is taken £7.50 in each of your first two campaigns.
The thing with avon (like anything in life) is that the more you put in the more you get out of it. if you are hoping to make millions from selling avon then you're going to have your work cut out! but i would always recommend it because not only do you earn a decent commission but you get to know your local community.
If you need more info about becoming a rep there is loads of info at the start of this thread and in previous threads.
if you have any other questions there's always someone on here who will know the answer! :TDFBX2016 #160 - £3550/£8800

Now that its coming upto christmas the children I look after are having a christmas fate/fayre quite soon and was thinking of taking part as they are asking for people to do stalls etc. I was just wondering what everyone's thoughts were at doing one and if it was worth while? I've got a feeling that this month isnt going to go very well with getting MOV
so need to boost my sales etc and thought this way would be a good opportunity to do so?

May as well give it a go - afterall you can return items that you don't sell. Try and get some xmas items - the skin care range, winter shower gel, and some of the xmas gifts perhaps - the basket set, lipgloss set, and SSS set (they've done really well with my customers). Then if you have any stock in from creative ordering you could try and sell that. Have lots of packs to give people who need a rep to order form - maybe a sample or two, and your details. If you have any items you could have as demo items maybe have them - perfumes particularly, as if people try it and like it, they might well place an order with you - so have a few brochures handy too.Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0

hey, there are loads of tips on this thread about stalls at fayres. do a search and see if it comes up.
People have recommended having plenty of books and order forms and pens. maybe a few demo products - things people can smell, etc. and have a £1 box which you could have as a lucky dip. you could tissue paper wrap some of the cheap shower gels and naturals products if you managed to get them when they were on offer. have a look in 17 & 18 and see what is on offer i cant think off the top of my head. you could also put in a couple of more expensive things - have a look in clearance in HT. you could also have some samples for people to take away. i remember someone suggesting you could fold the calling cards/business cards in half and write the name of the perfume on one side and blutac the perfume vials onto the inside - this way if they take the sample away they also have your contact details and you can stand them up like a place card on the table.
you could also have a raffle - make up a prize from items you might collect through creative ordering, or you could use the fab £8 gift set.
i havent had a stall like this so i cant tell you how effective it is but its all about spreading the word that you do avon. :cool:DFBX2016 #160 - £3550/£8800
