Tara the medium - anyone else heard?

I'm being plagued by emails from someone calling themselves Tara, a medium :mad:

I'm not one to be easily taken in by cons and can usually spot them a mile off but this is really p***ing me off because right now I'm feeling very low and vulnerable and the things the emails say really reflect my life. She promises good luck and fortune, good health etc. and says she knows how awful things are for me right now (which they are).

I realise it's not geniune and have no intention of replying for filling in her form, but it really touches a nerve and is clear to see how people are taken in by things like this :mad:

I just wondered if anyone else is receiving these emails?

I am receiving them too Tara is a Twot - just ignore her!!

I have been receiving them twice a day for a while now
I know it is not a good idea to reply to these but I got fed up and told her I would report her for harrassment.
I don't know if it will work or make things worse, but have not received one since Wednesday.

I have been getting them to and made the mistake of actually reading what she had to say its all a load of rubbish!!! I should have won lots of money by now!!! (i wish!)

This might help you to put some perspective on so called mediums etc http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cold_reading and also ask yourself if she were for real why hasn't she claimed this http://www.randi.org/site/index.php/1m-challenge.html these people are charlatans, always have been and always will be, ignore her hun and best of luck- hth:)

Thats a good point actually can't you add Tara to your junk and then they will go straight there and you won't have to read her pathetic witterings - i'm gonna do it now xx

Yes - me too regularly over the last few weeks!! Maybe it's from a comp we all went in for?? Don't know - however - it's rubbish, take no notice - stick it into spam. Don't even read the emails, they mean nothing. Complete and utter ****! Please don't be upset by these and don't read anything into them. They are meaningless. No doubt quite a few of us are receiving them and hopefully we are all binning them! Love and best wishes Alfie xx

That is really interesting - I loved that programme where Derren Brown basically proved how these mediums are charlatans and could actually do better readings than them without being psychic x
