You make a lot of sense with your input to this forum.
Then you go and spoil it all by complaining that politicians don't honour the promises they made before being elected;)
LOL - I'm still young and naive. Its the first time i have experiance of lying politicians. Do you think this might happen again during my lifetime?0 -
Yes they say anything to get a vote
What do you expect when a large proportion of them were on the fiddle and the system allowed them to get away with yet which made it even worseLOL - I'm still young and naive. Its the first time i have experiance of lying politicians. Do you think this might happen again during my lifetime?0 -
I can quite understand you being a bit miffed at the broken promises made by the politicians.
It may well be that in 5 years time more promises are broken and the FITs are scrapped - who knows?
If it makes you feel any better, I would be quite happy for an extra 5p to go on my annual bill. In fact I would be happy for an extra £20 per year to go on my bills to pay towards renewable energy. Why? Becuase I believe that in the long run we will all benefit from it.0 -

I personally wouldn't, because those who rent, live in flats or have unsuitable roofs have no chance to participate.
However I could live with that situation, but I have a serious objection to that extra money going straight into the coffers of firms who have found a loophole.0 -
I did get a grant, but the full FIT works out so much higher that they will earn more than double what I will receive (including grants) over the course of the FIT
Everyone is stuck between a rock and a hard place with regards to everyone having to pay. For example, if the country doesn't hit the green targets, then we as consumers will be handed down the fine. Therefore, we have to pay for green initiatives.
Back to the figures though, are they right?
you would get 15p per unit from good energy0
