Possible scam

Put an advert for some magazines on Loot. Got an online reply back as follows:

"Hello there, I'm interested in your posted Item ,i would want you to supply me with necessary information that would help this transaction. Let me know the price and the condition of the item as soon as possible I would want to make them purchase with a cashier cheque issued in a U.K bank. Regards,Mark - 07********* m*********@*****.com"

Now that, to me, seems very dodgy! He doesnt mention what the item is. I didnt mention that it was 'postable' and the condition is already in the text!

Anyone had anything similar before?
