At the moment Sainsbury's are running a promotion with ScotRail to give all customers a voucher for return rail travel anywhere in Scotland for only £18!
You can pick up a voucher in any Sainsbury's store in Scotland and theres no minimum basket spend either. However you better be quick as this promo is only on till 10 October
This voucher entitles you to purchase up to two of the following tickets in one transaction:

Trying to take advantage of this.
Does anybody have a spare voucher they can send me?
Or at least scan it so I can see if I need the actual voucher with me or just the code.0 -
You need the voucher to get the ticket. You buy the ticket on the day of travel and you hand over the voucher to get the ticket. You can also book at scotrail.co.uk/sainsburys or call 08457550033 and quote sainsburys10. It says you must carry the voucher to validate your booking.Hope that helps.0

Thank you very much for your reply.
I bought the tickets online and used the code, now I'm a bit worried they're going to ask the voucher at the train... I already have the tickets from Falkirk to Inverness for holiday with my partner and our baby son.
Can someone spare a voucher? I'm from Falkirk...0 -
I used the offer last week and nobody asked for the voucher despite my ticket being checked at least 4 times (Edinburgh to GLasgow and then change of train for onward journey) - but if you still need one I have a spare I could pop in the post for you.."The happiest of people don't necessarily have the
best of everything; they just make the best
of everything that comes along their way."

Hi competitionscafe,
Thank you for your reply. I tried sending you a private message but apparently your inbox is full.
I noticed you're from Edinburgh, I work there, in Melville Street. Any chance I could meet you somewhere to grab that spare?
I'm travelling to Inverness for holiday and the last thing I need is an overzealous conductor (rightfully) spoiling my trip.
I'll buy you lunch!0 -
I eventually travelled without the voucher and can confirm it wasn't needed.0
