Hiya
We are currently on NTL for our phone and am looking to change providers to get us a better deal.
We have Talk unliminted and 4mb broadband at the moment. I am getting charged
£11 l/r with £5.50 for talk unlimited - this has a £6 discount on as a called with the possibility of cancelling ages ago.
£24.99 bb
I call my mum most days (local) and I also call my sister occasionally plus other family members (national) I very rarely use the phone in the day time unless i'm off ill. So all calls are evening and weekends.
I have looked elsewhere for other bb packages but most say they require a BT line.
I am happy to change to BT but I have a few what could be issues....
We moved into our house nearly 6 years ago and the phone has always been NTL, however there is a BT box.
I called BT who said they wouldn't charge to reconnect unless this line was faulty - hence a hefty call out charge which I don't really want to pay and would rather stay with NTL than pay this.
Does anyone have any idea if there is anyway round this and also the best deal for me?
Thanks in advance
Lyndsey
