Cap One = OK it seems

Nationwide needs to be marked as settled or partially settled.

Are you getting the Equifax report by post then?

Just ordered the £2 report to view online in 5 days.

What letter shold I write to Nationwide? The BR one includes:

I was declared bankrupt on <Date of your bankruptcy>and subsequently discharged on <Date of Discharge>, and <name of creditor> was included within the Bankruptcy. For your convenience I have attached both my bankruptcy Order and Discharge Notification.

Do I change this for a DRO and send a print out from the IS site?

    Yep. :)

Just amend to suit a DRO and send copies of whatever paperwork/printouts go with that.

  • I've had nothing but problems with Nationwide refusing to acknowledge my DRO. It is nearly up and I envisage more problems when I try and clean up my credit file later this year. Hope all goes well for you :)

So the print out from the IS site plus all my DRO paperwork - letter from IS detailing the creditors etc.

Presumably so. Enough to prove that the DRO was made and finished.

Well i've gotten my £2 report online and I don't understand it.

Again not all my debts are on it!

    CAPITAL ONE £1700 (settled)
    TSB BANK ACCOUNT £300
    TSB LOAN £6000 (no default)
    TSB CC £1800 (no default)
    BANK OF SCOTLAND £1600
    BARCLAYCARD £750
    MARBLES £1800 (default 15/01/2010)
    NATIONWIDE £300 (defaulted 22/07/2009)

TSB Bank Account isn't on the report neither is Marbles, Bank of Scotland and Barclaycard.
I do however have Halifax Card Services 2 (defaulted 15/01/2010), Arrow Global Limited (defualted 29/09/2009) and Aktiv Kapital (defaulted 12/04/2006).

Should I just write to all my original credits asking them to add settled to my report, sending them my DRO info?

I may have to try callcredit

Marbles would be Halifax Card Services 2 thats about all I know none of the figures match up completely.

With a default is it the date it was first added that counts towards the 6 years not the last time it was on i.e. Default on 3+ months of 'history'

So I should be able to sort out 6 of my 8 creditors.

Barclays may have added my barclaycard and bank account together and sold it on, but I don't remember opening a bank on 08/08/02. TSB was opened when I went to junior school & Barclays opened in October 2002 (I think) along with the barclaycard. Or are these dates just when the DCA brought the account?

confusion on Experian one creditor is Arrow Global but on Callcredit it's MBNA. Who do MBNA own - Bank of Scotland (my card was WDCS charity)? Marbles is with Halifax.

I think the only creditors I have nothing on is TSB Bank acount and Barclaycard

EDIT: Just looked at 'Bank' section of Callcredit and Arrow Global is on there with the same details as MBNA! MBNA has a satisfied date have they just sold it on?

Doing a search Marbles comes up as HFC but I don't have HFC on any report.

Creditors I have no clue about:

    TSB Bank Account
    Marbles = Halifax Card Services?
Bank of Scotland = MBNA on report
    Barclaycard

I'm losing track with all that. :o

Yes, 6 years from the default. Subsequent history doesn't matter.

For now I would write to sort out the ones you are sure of. Once they are sorted and the fact of the DRO registers with creditors, then hopefully things will become clearer?
