Letting Agent dragging feet over bond return

Options
We rented a house for a year. When we moved in the house was a mess and the inventory obviously was the state of the house at the start of the previous tenants tenancy or even before that. The photos had no resemblance to on the inventory. So we gave the letting agent the inventory back with all the adjustments listed. We also managed to get them to fix some things but ended up cleaning the house ourselves from top to bottom as best we could. We only moved in as the week before the letting agent had promised to clean it up and fix all the problems and we turned up the night before we move to find nothing had been done. Our life in boxes back at home and notice given.
Six months later the landlord fell out with the letting agent and sacked them and got a new one. No inspection was done by the new letting agent. Six months later we give notice pointing out what a mess it was when we moved in and given them a copy of our new inventory and left the place in a better condition then when we moved in. In fact we moved out way before our notice ended buy obviously paid the rent and bills as agreeded. Final inspection done and the landlord says the place is a mess and the letting agent sends us a letter saying he wants £50deducted from the bond and we can accept this or go to dispute. So we decide to accept the £50 deduction just so we can get our bond back and end the situation. Three weeks later no bond returned so I call the letting agent. They claim the oven was so bad a mess it was industrially cleaned but still not able to be used so the landlord wants another £100 towards a new oven. I pointed out to them that when we moved in we asked for the oven to be replaced as it was so old and digusting and we cleaned it best we could but its well past its use by date when we moved in and how exactly do they think we got it that bad in a year? They say its not the inventory we gave them and the landlord is going on how he remembers it. The landlord's memory must be a bit hazy as after we gave notice he tried to claim we had broke something that we didn't and he remembered it being okay when we move din we provided photos of it broken when we moved in which soon shut him up.
What would you do now? I have told the letting agent they either pay us the bond minus the £50 or we go to dispute for the full amount. Can we approach the dispute service to get things going or do we have to wait for the letting agent to formally say they are to deduct the money? The bond is in a protected scheme. What do you think are the chances of me winning the full amount? We have some photos of when we moved in but not many. We also have a copy of the inventory which we provided to the orginal letting agent. We forgot to mention the oven as it didn't work when we moved in and they said they were going to replace it. All the claims seem to be based on the landlords memory when we moved in?
Thanks for anyones help on this.
