Why do I bother??? Rant

I sold 3 items on 23rd Sept, none of which I have received payment for. All sold to different buyers. For personal reasons I requested payment by postal order only, I specified this in the listing, in the payment options and in the invoice message. I would have thought 3 times would have been enough. I have had contact from one of them saying he couldn't get to the post office until the weekend. That was fine he has contacted me.
I tried to conatct the other two, but had no answer from them, so started a NPB thats when the troubles started.

One of them apologised and told me payment was in the post. It remains to be seen if it's a p.o or not.

The other got arsey and told me that a cheque has been in the post since last week. Needless to say cheque still hasn't got here. I told them that I can only accept p.o due to personal circumstances, and after all it is my choice and made them very aware of this. I told them that if the cheque ever arrived I would send it back to them. They then got nasty, and gave a big sob story that quite frankly I don't believe a word of. Threats to neg me and drag me through ebay for non receipt of goods ensued. Looking at their mostly positive feedback, it seems they buy a lot of similar stuff to what they won from me, but mine was a bit more expensive that they have been paying. I wonder if they are making trouble to try to get out of this?

This is all from one item that cost £5 plus £1 postage.

Can I just turnaround and tell them to forget it. I can't be bothered to deal with this person anymore. I am an honest trustworthy person who would never knowingly cheat anyone out of anything.

Eagerly awaits visit from postman........

Wow, posting on here really does get results!

Sorry you have to deal with these people. I would probably bid without checking the auction terms (last minute bidder/searcher), but I would then go out of my way to pay how the seller wanted. So there is no need to be like your buyers. Sending the cheque back will cost you a stamp, which you shouldn't have to be forking out for. And he'll probably send it right back to you anyway! Grr. I hope you get it sorted out soon.
