in Credit cards
Hi there
2 pronged question!
(1) This may seem a daft question but does anyone know if its possible to apply (& get accepted of course!) for a Credit Card if you are unemployed - what I mean is, as soon as they see 'unemployed' on the application do they automatically reject it so.... therefore is there much point in applying in the first place?! (if the chances of being accepted are a big fat Nil) --- and
(2) which are the best credit cards to apply for with those with a poor credit history as I understand there are certain card companies that are more lenient than others but can't remember (or find any info) as to which ones they are.
Any help/advice would be appreciated, many thanks.

1) extremely unlikely that you would get accepted if unemployed but at the end of the day the worse they can say is "no"
2) sub-prime credit cards you have Vanquis, Capital One, Aqua, Barclaycard Initial. Vanquis or Capital One would be a good starting point.0 -

Are you planning to revolve the balance (i.e. not pay it off in full each month)?
Will you be withdrawing cash (which will incur interest from the off)?
If you do get accepted then bear in mind the above as your APR will be very high.
Also bear in mind you will probably get a relatively low credit limit.
Good luck.0
