Me too, if.. been teaching the aliens, it's taken me ages, they couldn't get the hang of the step to the left and then the step to the right - flummoxed them completely:D.. and I won't tell you what your skeleton has been up to:rotfl::rotfl:The time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time

Just caught up on the evening's shinanegans - looks like I missed out on yet another high brow outing :rotfl:
I have however had a lovely evening enjoying the ballet (Swan Lake) with my mum, who was totally surprised and loved it. :T
Didn't make my 20 NSD as I'd hoped as I bought my mum a programme for a fiver but I didn't think she should pay for it given that it was my treat, and I wanted her to have something to remember the evening so all in all it was well worth losing a NSD for.
I also have a HUGE bowl of sweets left that I bought for all the trick or treaters we were expecting (used to get quite a lot of the neighbourhood kids in our prev place) but all we had was one lone, and rather chilly looking witch - who was so sweet she just took one pack of sweets, so I had to force some more on her :rotfl: perhaps I'll bring them on our next outing, better keep them away from Hubert though
Right, back to work tomorrow after a week of hols - don't know where the week has gone.Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

Last year I ordered most of our Xmas dinner through Cook! who delivered everything frozen ready to pop into the oven. It was delicious and with the weather how it was I am so glad I didn't have to worry about the xmas dins, I did get a few extra items (mash, veg and pigs in blankets as Cook! didn't have these in their meal plan) and OMG M&S was bedlam - those ladies with walking sticks were the worst - if you got in their way thay had your ankles like a pro hocky player! :rotfl::rotfl:
Now that sounds like a great idea, kerri......
I avoid M&S like the plague before Xmas, it is complete bedlam in there:eek::eek::eek::eek:The time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time

The aliens are exhausted Spoony, you've worn them out!!
I know poor skeleton is looking very sheepish!! Perhaps it's best I don't know "If wishes were horses, then beggars would ride"

I know.......should of realized......not as young as I was, used to dance all night in these heels!!
Well dancing in wellies is always tricky........I know you didn't want to wear your heels because of the mess Hubert made (since the skeletons nicked his nappies!) but you were asking for trouble!!
I will give skeleton a strict talking too......poor alien he looks chilled to the bone!! Excuse the pun :rotfl:"If wishes were horses, then beggars would ride"

Glad your aunt’s skin is improving, that’s great news. I love a period drama as well, really enjoying Downton Abbey:)
Re your NSD dilemma, I agree with everyone else, you’ve already spent the money “buying” the cards, so no need to lose an NSD twice:)

:jtwistedhazel: well done for getting to no 19, target well and truly smashed now, witchy is flying high. You’ve had a great month, well done for being brave for November:T
:jTete: well done for getting to no 10. That’s nothing to be ashamed of, 10 NSDs is brilliant :Tand sometimes life just gets in the way of our good intentions. May be best to set a lower target for November - 10 seems like a good idea.:)

I share your shame re toiletries:o:o, I had an unmentionable number of shampoo bottles when I did my stocktake, never mind the rest.... working my way through it now slowly....
:jsofababe: well done for no 9, you’ve had a great month even if you think you haven’t.
9 NSDs is a great achievement, hold your head up high, you should be proud of that.
Sorry you’ve been feeling carp this month, that’s not going to help, but you really have done well...:T

I mean just HOW MANY Quality Street can one person eat in a day???
My OH can eat his own body weight in Quality Street - I have to hide all Festive Chocs bought before the day.:rotfl: The annoying thing is he's not fat, where I just have to look at an After Eight and my jeans get tighter:mad:butdoineedit? wrote: »I agree with everyone else on this, as long as you don't go over the value of the cards, it's not a spend, as you've already spent it!
It's been a close call this month (& i don't know why seeing as i spent half of it too ill to go to the shops ), but i can declare today as 16 & target met :j
It's been a productive day today, after rearranging the freezer I had loads more room than i thought, so as well as the curried lentil soup, which came out really yummy, i have made a meatloaf (which probably won't make it into the freezer as it will be perfect for this weeks lunches), 6 small salmon & leek quiches, just the right size for a meal for 1, 6 small black cherry pies & some pear & chocolate danish's to use up all the scraps of frozen pastry i found & the pears that were rapidly softening in the fruit bowl. Freezers full again now, but at least i'll only need minimal groceries for the next few weeks :j
Right off to sort out my costume for tonight's ball!!
you will always be rich enough to be generous.0
