Back again!
Got my weekly shop done and I'm really pleased as with judicial use of Tesc0 coupons and taking advantage of a lot of their offers I got £79.54 worth of shopping for £49.40 - saving of over £30!:j
Very happy Jinty!:D
This includes a 15kg bag of dog food and 8kg of cat food. Trying to stock up before the VAT goes up in Jan.;) The Govt gets enough of my money:rotfl:
No plans to do anything else today, just going to get on with ,my knitting in front of the telly, great!

Lovely OH doing the shopping for you - can I borrow him - I hate food shopping:mad:....
Declaring early isn’t presumptuous at all, it stops us spending, so very wise:T
hee hee - of course you can borrow him! He's not so good at packing the shopping bags (lettuce at the bottom, tins on top!) but he's very well trained when it comes to sticking to a list and picking out nice veggies etc
declaring early yesterday definitely made me stick to my NSD...i didnt want to have to come on here to say I'd ended up spending!! :rotfl::rotfl: oh the shame!
Today was a small spendie as i needed to get a card and wee pressie for my friend who's birthday it is on Sunday but hopefully tomorrow will be a NSD....!Those that matter don't mind, and those that mind don't matter0 -

My oven is also in mid-clean state with the racks in the oven pride bag....oh what to tackle first....Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

Oh dear....a very spendy day today!!!! Got loads of stuff to make things for Xmas fairs and pressies for family, so should make some of it back!!
Actually, I think I am going to have to draw up a new spreadsheet for my crafting stuff...that will be so much better....but a bit of a bind to set up and sort out. Took DS2 to a Rugby Tournament today...not fit enough to hang about in the cold and watch, but did stop by a big Mr T on the way home...bad move, but did get loads of things on offer that are ending next MondayTook my time going round, but still shattered...not up to full speed health-wise yet by any means. Still,I have a quiet week next week as not much planned - I was supposed to be in Scotland
.
Spoon, I did over-do it yesterday (will I ever learn!!!), but the bread and hobnob are deee-licious, and as I was only fit for knitting the rest of the day, I got the first sock for Dad done!!
Will post piccies later once I have a rest....and find the camera!
I hope to make the whole weekend NSD...but you never know....

Another spend day for me today - the lure of the 'staff only' Whoopsies again I'm afraid
Got into work and mentioned to the bakery manager that I'd managed to get the bag of cheese split up and into my freezers - and actually had more gaps than I'd realised as I hadn't even had to squeeze any of them in, they'd all just dropped into one of two spots where I've made space by using up stuff from in them over the last couple of weeks. At this I was told there were 2 more bags for wasting today if I was interested....... silly question really
So I caught the same store manager as I spoke to yesterday (the one who probably sees me most when I go in for final reductions, so he knows I shop that way as a norm), and got the thumbs up againI've now got another 4kg of cheese to split up (may have to spend on more freezer bags, though the ones I used this morning were all ones that have recently come out of the freezers meaning I do have some new ones still knocking around to get me started), and reckon I may well have enough cheese to last me until the end of 2011 (10 weeks left of this year and 52 weeks next year, versus 60 x 100g bags that will last around a week a piece - but I already had some cheese in my fridge that will do several weeks) :T
I'm now one very, very, very [strike]happy[/strike] ecstatic bunnyCheryl0 -
Cheryl - I'm coming roun to yours....yum to all that cheese!
Well peeps, a NSD so far as I only made it out of the house to pick up some shower gel from Freegle. I do have a lovely clean oven...however, some of the cleaner dripped on what I thought were the stainless steel handles...only for me to find they are not stainless steel and are now marked. Cue lots of internet searches to find replacement handle, found one side advertising at £27 (frustrating but not too bad) but I had to submit a stock query (and in my experience that means they won't have it) or £42 on any other site that seem to have it  so annoying as at that price I may as well have paid for the oven to be professionally cleaned
Am going to cal the manufacturer tomorrow and see if they can offer anything - nothing for sale on their parts site (the over is only about 4yrs old too). Did find the whole oven on eBay for sale and considered buying that but wondered if that was a bit extreme for a handle....then again.....:undecidedFeb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16
