Evening all! Hope you are all well. I'm enjoying my week off work (well apart from spending yesterday afternoon on a conf call ...but nice to be in demand i suppose). Have no idea how it's Wed afternoon already - I swear someone keeps pinching bit of my day.....
Well done to everyone who's clocking up their Oct targets, and well done to those who aren't quite there yet too... Spoony, I can confirm yesterday was a NSD :j so thats (drum roll please....) NSD #17 and target #3 met! Today also looks like it might be a NSD so that's good, not going to try and squeeze in another target but I would be chuffed if I could make it to 20. I know I've done better than norm this month due to me being away for al arge part, so I need to keep my feet on the ground for Nov ...
bit annoyed with myself as I chipped one of our side plates today getting it out of the dishwasher. It wasn't expensive (Matalan) but it's frustrating as a) if I'd have been more careful it wouldn't have happened b) I doubt I will be able to get a replacement (even though the set doesn't really go with this kitchen, got it when we were at the flat and the kitchen was blue. c) its going to irritate me every time I see it so one way or another I will end up forking out on a new plate or two  I'm such a klutz sometimes. Might treat myself to a nice 'ecclestic retro' style one from TK Maxx though...any excuse eh? :rotfl:
BTW, can anyone recommend where to get some good snow boots? I'm my mum's b'day in Nov and I want to get her some for the winter - she's 'getting on a bit'and lives on a steep hill. i got some in NY a few years ago and they were a god send last winter. Thing is, I need to find some decent ones that aren't overly trendy if you know what i mean - she'd look a bit odd wandering about in a huge pair of Billabong Moon Boots or something :rotfl::rotfl:

NSD 13 for me today - so that's my 2nd target met :j
Does that mean I'll get the funky breakdancing skeleton?
Not sure if there'll be another this week as we have to find a 2nd hand washing machine very quickly since our rubbish Haier is beyond repair. But that's only one thing, so I will try and squeeze another NSD in before sunday.
Good luck with the rest of the week, everyone.DFW Nerd 941 Proud to be dealing with my debt
