  • This place is great for kids so im sure you'll have a great time, especially considering it'll be Christmas. We are booked to go the weekend before you and the kids are really looking forward to it!

I can never understand why people slag this place off, yes the accomodation is basic but its a place you take your kids so they can enjoy themselves. You wont spend much time in the accomodation at all!
    Have a great time!

Have also done many breaks at Minehead, last time we went half board there were plenty of choices so quite good only drawback is you only get room only when halfboard (unless opted for appartment with kitchen and lounge) but not too bad if your there for w/end.Hope you enjoy your break.

We went for xmas day last year...can promise your seven year old will love it, but i wont lie you may not we went silver+ after having a good break there in may 09 this time the accomadation was really awful, on the plus side minehead is a great town & the hairy dog and the weatherspoons in minehead town both do a good meal at a good price, at the end of the day its a cheap holiday and good for young kids..i just thank god mine have now outgrown butlins
