I'm glad I'm not the only one who had to resist. I did have to tell myself that £41.00 was a lot of money just to try the superskin concentrate as I already have the other stuff in the kit.
Just done PYNSa. I don't usually get the time to paint my nails and when I do I seem to balls it up big time so don't bother, but this time I didn't put the base/top coat on and they have come out looking quite nice. I just used the base/top coat as a protection. If I can do it nice looking more often I might get to use up some of my nail varnishes sooner rather than later.Did owe £9,951.96

 I swear by it my lovely! I've been using it for years and I'm on my second litre pot.
Elasticizer saves me in money on hair colour because it helps keep my colour nice. It saves me money on hair cuts because I never have to go and get some chopped off because it's in bad condition. And it saves me time everyday because keeping it in good condition means I don't have to wrestle with it with a brush and hair dryer to make it look nice. I wrap it in a towel while I put my face on, then rough dry with the dryer and then tidy it up with brush and dryer for about two minutes at the end instead of a laborious full 25 minute blow dry secstioning it all off because it's so thick.
My hair is thick because there's so much of it but each hair itself is fine. It's also about 30% grey these days so it's coarse in places as well. I colour it every three weeks at home which on paper should be bad for it - but it's in lovely swingy condition.
A few years ago I was having my colour done in salons but not using Elasticizer and even though they were probably much better at just doing the roots with no overlap than I am on the back - my condition was much worse.
It doesn't suit everyone though. I would keep an eye out for one or two of the one use sachets that pop up on eBay and give it a couple of goes before splashing out on a big size.
There's a Philip Kingsley TSV on QVC this Wednesday coming!:j
Thank you very much! That's fab - I'm definitely going to buy a sachet and give it a go now. Anything that could repair my processed hair will be worth it's weight in gold!

Equally glad I'm not the only one. I love Cleanse and Polish, Instant Boost Skin Tonic and the Normal/Combination moisturiser but I've never really liked any of her body products, however much I buy so now I have finally stopped trying them "just in case I like them this time"!:)MFiT-T2 #49 December 09 £15373, January 12 £0 target £0 by 12/12/12

Evening Girlies! Well done to those who resisted the QVC deal! I have to say that, along with Lush, that's not something that rings my bells at all - thankfully!
My Crabtree & Evelyn La Source body lotion had a little splutter this morning - few more goes left in it though yet. Have decided also that I must get back into the habit of putting makeup on again - I'm not working at the moment - long story but to cut it short I've been stitched up and forced out of a job I loved, there's a lot going on around it at the moment and it's all rather stressful. Actually, scrub that, incredibly stressful!! Fingers crossed the stress linked to the raw unpleasantness will ease by the middle of next week. Anyway, I need to get into the habit of at least putting tinted moisturiser & a bit of mascara on I reckon! I must be getting there mind - straightened my hair this morning! ;-)

I went MIA last month. Ended up using up products right, left and centre! Cleansers, shampoo, most things. The only things that I still have in quantities are body butters, toothpaste and deodorant.
Used up my last cleanser last month. As you may have (:A) heard me saying before, Eve Lom is my absolute favouritest cleanser in the world, but I'd read so much about Liz Earle that I thought I'd give it a go. My skin had been minging - got to the stage where it was practically making me cryI just got a little try me kit so I bought 2 TSV from QVC today. The smell isn't my fave, but the difference it's made to my skin really has to be seen to be believed :j
I have maybe about 2 uses left from the vosene shampoo and am on the hunt for a good one. The last few I've tried have been disappointing - if anyone has any ideas, then let me know :A My hair is really thick and normal to greasy.
Good luck everyone :j
Oh! Also bought some Emporio Armani diamonds today, but I'd finished up another and it's gorgeous, so it's allowed0 -

A girl dropped an Avon Brochure around today and it was all I could do not to hiss and make a crucifix with my fingers at her!
Luckily I've never ever ever found anything I liked from Avon so hopefully I'm safe. Actually, I tell a lie.:D There was a certain neon orange nail varnish I lived and died in all the way through 1983 but that was just because I didn't know any better!
It was the 80s - none of us knew any better! :rotfl:

Two small UUs to report: a 7ml sample tube of Olay Total Effects Moisturiser WIBA? Yes, this suited my skin. Luckily, I think I have another tube of this or something similar in their range that I can replace it with in my makeup bag at work. I've also UU a sachet of Nivea Radiance Boosting Daily Scrub.0

Morning all :hello:
Hope you are all enjoying a lovely lazy Sunday morning.
I have my first uu's of the month,
Tara Smith conditioner - wiba - yes, but don't need to as have two more in the stash
pantene acqua light shampoo - wiba, probably, I quite liked this but there a few more bottles of shampoo to get through before I even think of buying anything else
imperial leather shower & shave shower gel - wiba - this was a hit with both me & my DD so I'd say there's a fair chance of this reappearing in my shopping basket.
Enjoy what's left of the weekend ladies, xx0 -
For anyone who uses Nice'n Easy permanent hair colour (unfortunately I have to colour my hair approx every 6-8 weeks so have to buy this regularly despite being on this thread) there is a £1 Tesco specific coupon on Supersavvyme and these are on offer in Tesco @ 2 for £8 so use 2 mocs (after you print the 1st one click to say it didn't print and it usually lets you print it again!) and you can get 2 for £6 until 26 October.
