Now this is appropriate for a Sunday.... forgive me girls for I have sinned.

I went into Superdrug and bought some of the MUA make up - which is 'just' £1 a pop.... So

2 x lipsticks - to be fair I had to chuck one of mine the other week
2 x bronzers - couldnt decide on the shade, turns out the darker one
    2 x pinky blushers - haven't tried yet

Oh my goodness! I definitely didnt need any blushers or bronzers. Fudge. :o

  • Evening everyone,

I was only thinking earlier today that I must start to use up the piles of stuff in my dressing table drawers as they are all ramjam full, then I stumble across this thread! Talk about synchronisity thingy!

I have read through a lot of the posts and am now thoroughly inspired and motivated (but in need of tons of support and encouragement) to join in for November.

I'm going to start on one drawer now and tidy everything into groups of lotions, shampoos, deoderants etc etc.

Will check in tomorrow night to report back.

  • Hi all

I'm moving house in 2 weeks (eek!) and this weekend have "packed" up my toiletries. I am embarrassed (and shocked!!) to see that they fill 3 packing boxes. I knew that I had a lot of products (they are my one guilty pleasure)....but I never realised just how much I had accumulated. My boyfriend was gobsmacked.

The majority of my stash is body butters, moisturisers, lotions etc and I justify all of my purchases on the basis that I have very dry skin and suffer from eczema really badly if I don't keep on top of my skincare. It's even worse because all my friends and family condone my habit on the same basis!! My worst habit is going through "phases" with my products e.g. loving a particular brand and buying loads and then discovering a new brand which replaces it. Consequently I am terrible for having lots of half used products.

My new resolution is to use up at least 75% of my products (sorry I cant quite make myself commit to 100% yet!) before I buy any more.

Please can I join you guys for November? I've been lurking for a while and really need to commit to doing this. I'm going to stocktake my stash tonight. Scary stuff!!

    X Bex

I have UU a toothpaste. Macleans I believe. I shall open one of the ones I bought last week. DH's Euthymol looks like it's about to give up the ghost too, it's wound right up. I think he has a spare already bought. If he does, that means we have 4 new toothpastes to get through before we open up the new aloe vera one but as it hasn't arrived yet, I shall worry about that when it comes :)

Welcome to all the newbies :D
