  • Hey,
No more UUs for me, but 2 Ins: Sensodyne pronamel toothpaste and mouthwash. This is normally ridiculously expensive, but there must have been a mistake at Superdrug, as it was about half price and not on offer. :)

How do you know which vitamin oil to get? I've just been having a nosy at this stuff and they all seem to come with different numbers after the name.

Also is this one just the same as buying them in capsule form?

I didnt have a clue which one to get - I was in the health shop, looking for vit E capsules and starflower ones (as per the thread on here somewhere about using them instead of moisturisers) and just happened to walk past the shelf with the JASON stuff on - saw that they had a vitamin E oil there (thats got avocado, almond and two other sorts of oil that I cant remember) and figured it was worth a try,as the lipsalve I got of theirs is wonderful !! The bottle is about 250mls,you use TINY amounts and it cost me £6.60 - so even if i end up using it on my feet,I cant go far wrong....

Could you tell me which health shop you get the Jason stuff from? It's a brand I'm keen to try (when my stash runs down, of course).
  • Morning all,

another UU: Clarins multi active night cream -wiba - no, this was ok but nothing special.

trying to do a massive clearout and dejunk the house today and will probably be knee deep in dust so will definitely need a lovely pampering session tonight

have a lovely day ladies, xx
  • I was sooooo good yesterday. I was visiting a retail park and it would have been rude not to have popped into the Boots there. I decided to have a closer look at some of the stuff I'd seen in the Xmas catalogue. While there I saw some costume jewellery I liked and thought I could get that on the Xmas shopping evening to go towards the £50 spend. But the naughty side of me wanted to get it there and then so that I could also get a £5 No 7 voucher. So I found myself pricing up some of the No 7 stuff. I really wanted the No 7 Blissful Foot Cream but even with the £5 off it would still have cost £5 and so I was strong :A. I only came out with chocolate which I bought with points.

There was a Celia Birtwell holdall (I'm mad about bags!) that I liked the look of in the catalogue but when I had a look at it in the shop I went off it as it had plastic handalls which would probably crack over time and would therefore not be worth the £20, even with 342 offer. I think I've talked myself out of the Toni and Guy holdalls as well as I've still got so much shampoo/conditioner, unless the £40 one is an OOTW ;). I still really like the Sanctuary vanity case though - I may have to include that on my Xmas list or I could buy with my points :D.

anybody any idea when the Boots Christmas nights are?

I will have to check out Superdrug today as I use that toothpaste too and I've just started my last tube! Thanks for that.

    UUs this week:
2 travel sized Dove body lotions - they were ok, did the job but nothing special.
Hairspray, deodorant, mouthwash and toothpaste - all replaced by last ones in stash! I'm getting really good about not hoarding these items (unless I see a really super duper offer that is!) :T
Lush Comforter bubble bar - WIBA? YES but not yet, as I have 2 more to use up first. Its my favourite Lush product and I love it :j

    Nearly finished:
200ml Protect & Perfect beauty serum (for the face) - yes, its still not finished but surely must be nearly there!
J-Lo Still perfume - WIBA? Yes, I really like this but I do have others to use up first.
J-Lo Live Luxe perfume - WIBA? I think I prefer just the Live version (without the Luxe addition!) but yes would buy again if on offer. J-Lo perfume seem to suit me well without being horrifically expensive - MSE result! :T
Boots Botanical body lotion travel size - half used but tempted to throw it, as smells a bit weird and the texture isn't all that nice. I think someone else on here said the same (I also think I have kept it for too long before starting to use it). Might just use it for my feet under bed socks at night.

Am loving this thread - keep all the recommendations going ladies!

2 ins yesterday, got 2 Nivea deodrants from Superdrug @ 69p each less 2 x 50p mocs from here so actual cost 19p each, deodrant stash has dropped quite considerably from what it was so felt it was justified as if I waited until I ran out the offer would probably be over.

The Proenamel toothpaste is also on offer at Tesco/Sainsburys until 26/10 & 19/10 as well and although it initially seems more expensive than Superdrug it is actually the larger size so works out the same cost per ml. I think the 75ml size is being phased out (I bought 6 of this size last year in tesco for £1 each) there are also reports on grabit board of people finding this size cheap in some Tescos.

I got mine in the discount health store in Poole (think its just called Poole discount health store) but Ive bought things in Holland and Barratt before, so I think you can get it pretty much most health food/suppliment shops??

is the link to the beauty oils page - the one I bought is the third one down. :) think theres a "where to buy" page too if that helps.

I have finally UU the Elemis Cleanser today that matched the toner UU last week. Really like this and had already purchased another set prior to joining this challange. But I am not going to open that yet and will move onto Clinque Liquid Soap as I have had that for longer.

Also my weekly hair treatment Nicky Clarke Colour Radiance (43 left).
