Actually, I wouldn't mind making mine in to ''new'' smaller bars with the ends, for hand washing, or shorter lasting ''seconds'' bars.
think I'm a sucker for nicely wrapped soaps, got a lovely one in my draw as too nice to open:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

*and ive got a fair few off the boots freebie bags the ones when you spend soo much,

:rotfl:Best description of a Gift with Purchase I've ever heard.

Amazingly I've bought no cosmetics this month:T but I will allow myself a treat when there's a Boots offer of the week that appeals to me.

  • I bought a gift set of Philosophy shower gels in a charity shop a while back. Sheer greed, really, and just because it was a bargain. I always check gift sets there as you sometimes find good makes going for a song. Well, no wonder they were given to charity. Chocolate flavours - yuk. I like chocolate but not in the shower. Anyway, using them up as shampoo. First one is oat raisin - double yuk. But MSE. :)
  • A UU Aldi Q10 face cream - WIBA no as I used it as a handcream as it was to heavy for me.

I had a hydrafacial last night and OMG my skin feels amazing! The beautician also told me to chuck away all olay, No 7, dermalogica and Elemis stuff as its all very pretty but its like sticking egg white on your skin. It doesnt actually sink in it just sits on the skin making it look like its doing something. I am sceptical but I have brought some Priori skincare facewash and moisturiser to try - not cheap but my sister and mum have been using it and there is a huge difference in there skin. I will keep you posted as to whether they are worth the dosh!

So thats me with a spend in October then! LOL

    My revelation for the day:
1 x QVC Todays Special Value (TSV) not bought, ie that Liz Earle one = about £60
1 x much needed winter coat to walk the dog in, um, lets guess, yep = £60

So there I am telling myself how I should be able to do more with my money when you look at in black and white like then, well yes do more with it by not wasting it on duplicate toiletries! Revelation over.

And someone just posted this over in the Money Saving Arms:

hi everyone, just finally catching up with the Oct thread.
Not bought anything yet this month, or used anything up yet either.
  • Hi everyone

A Couple of UU for me:

Colgate toothpaste - The tube seemed to last forever because I didn't like it (It must have been on special or free when I got it) WIBA - Nope, I prefer McLeans Whitening which I am using now from my stash:D

Nivea ( Body) Mosturiser - WIBA yes, lovely smell and keeps dry skin at bay.

No INS for me yet - need to stay strong with all the 3 for 2 offers at the moment......

    Save my money for xmas:o

Down to a splutter on my current toothpaste reckon it'll do tomorrow morning then be gone so am recording it as a UU now, its the Arm and Hammer sample I got from bzzagent in summer, WIBA - not yet, I still have 8 sample tubes and a full sized one to use before I even need to think about toothpaste (plus the other two full size colgate ones in my stash and the part used aquafresh one I'll work on getting rid of next).

Also a UU for my antiperspirant deoderant, it was the Nivea Calm and Care, WIBA, probably, it works about as well as any other antip/deoderant (as far as I can tell at least), smells ok and doesn't irritate my underarms. But I've at least two more roll ons of various types in the stash.
It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

After quite a few days of no UUs I finally have some to report on..

Jasper Conran Perfume - WIBA? - Yes this is my HG of fragrance & luckily I have another few bottles in my stash.

L'Occitane Moisturising cream Night Care 15ml - WNBA - Didn't really care for it and found it just sort of "sat on" my skin. Opened Olay Aqua physics from stash.

Thalgo 02 Marine Replenishing Serum Free Sample - Nice but costs far too much for me to buy. - Now back onto half used Clarins Flash Beauty Balm.

I did take a look at my shampoo and conditioners and think I may not need to buy any for the next few years :eek::eek: but very :money:

Still no IN's for me this month.
