Boiler Replacement

HI,
I'm after some advise concerning a Re-fit of a boiler system.
A few Months ago my mum had to have the whole boiler system replaced as it had broken down, she called british gas for this and they came to fit the whole new system, the whole thing has been a disaster they fitted the new boiler in a different place to where they said to start with and it looks a mess with pipes coming out everyone and not neatly behind the boiler! and then after the first week of having the boiler it was breaking down every 8 days and we have had to have numerous visit from them to fix the problem there has also been 7 leaks where they had done pipes up tight enough and we have also had to the laminate flooring replaced due to one of those leaks.
So as converns to complaining where do we stand when it comes to consumer rights and the likes of the service they have provided?
Thanks

I'd get someone high ranking in British Gas out to examine the installation, you could also talk to these people http://www.gassaferegister.co.uk/ if there are water leaks I would be concerned about Gas leaks.
Did a BG engineer fit the system or was it done by a sub contractor?
Might be worth you posting this on one of the plumbing forums, they will ask for a picture and will give you good advice.

BG did my parents recent install and they were brilliant but very expensive.
I would do the usally asking to speak to someone high up work your way up the chain. I would also speak to someone at Gas safe as well.0
