Not sure why they are having sky put in. I alway thought that students spent most of their time in bed or out in the pub apart from the ones addicted to daytime TV:rotfl: . I think its to make it as homely as possible.
Not having the internet is another matter. I know that they are only 10 minites from uni and libraries etc but such a lot of work is done via the internet and on your laptop, wireless is an essential

what a nonsense. As a student, in a student flat, 20 mins from uni, by bus, I can tell you wireless internet is not 'essential'.
I look forward to you post about how she is skint, has no time for a job, cant afford her gym membership, only manages three nights out a week etc etc etc0
