Mysterious email, is this legit

I got an email from ebay and I was wondering if anyone else had had one in case it's spam:

MC045 NOTICE: Registration Suspension - Possible Unauthorized Account‏

Dear eBay Customer,
We recently noticed an attempt to log in to your eBay account from a foreign IP
address and we have reason to belive that your account was used by a third party
without your authorization.
If you recently accessed your account while traveling, the unusual log in attempts
may have been initiated by you. Therefore, if you are the rightful account holder,
click on the link below to log into your account and follow the instructions.

If you choose to ignore our request, you leave us no choice but to suspend your account.
If you received this notice and you are not the authorized account holder, please be aware

used and to combat the fraud from our community.

You need read no further than :Dear eBay Customer,

No - the reason being that they have not used your actual name and if you hover over the link the website is clearly a fishy (phishy) website. the wording is also Sh!te

If you are in any doubt, forward it to ebays spam email address and also check your 'messages' in ebay. If this email were real I think you'd have an email there too.

I continually get these, also from Hotmail allegedly, telling me my account hasn't been used, please follow the nice clicky and enter username, dob, password etc, and they'll make everything all right for me again. It goes in my special folder, called the bin.
If any email's going to be real, I'd much prefer the Nigerian ones that tell me I'm heir to £20million from a random family link! Even the Spanish lottery one would be nice- though they only promise me £1million. Not fair. If I'm going to actually bother replying to that trash, at least let me imagine for a milisecond what I could buy with my £20million!

The email coming from a hotmail or yahoo account etc. should also tell you its dodgy.

I regularly get similar emails telling me that my Barclays Bank and Lloyds Bank accounts have been compromised, all my details have been lost and they need updating on-line... :sad:

Only if my details have been lost, how did they manage to contact me? :think:

And, well a small point, I don't bank with either... :rotfl:
