co-op gadget insurance does it cover iphone ?

Hi,

I was looking through the terms and conditions of the of the gadget insurance prior to switching and it looks like it won't cover iphones.

It specifically excludes any gadgets with a cost of more than £300 inc VAT new. An iphone out of contract is over £300.

Does anyone have any information that contradicts that ?

Yes, you are looking at the gadget insurance. Look at the following link re mobile phone insurance of up to £600 per handset.

Hi

I-phones and blackberries are covered under the mobile phone insurance - you can cover upto 4 phones and each can be upto £600 in value. You just need to register the phones, you are not covered though for the 1st 14 days from the opening of the account.
