How to get Fifa 11 (PS3) for 16 QUID!

I think it's important to highlight that Fifa 11 has absolutely nothing to do with this exploit. (and mentioning Fifa 11 at the same time as trading in Fifa 10 will likely only confuse the shop assistant serving you!)

As such I think this should really have been posted in the CEX glitches thread.

The deal is:

CEX sell Fifa 10 for £8.
Some* ASDA stores do generic trade-ins; the stores that do will give you £15 of store credit for Fifa 10.

*The only reliable way to determine if a specific store does generic trade-ins is to phone them and ask.

As to what you do with the store credit - that's entirely upto you, though it's a happy convenience that ASDA are currently the cheapest retailer selling Fifa 11. (if they have any stock left!)

Note.

Given ASDA updates it's trade-in prices on Saturdays, can anyone confirm if the £15 trade-in is still available?

Just back from Spondon store in Derby. Got £15 for my PS3 Fifa 10 but no stock of Fifa 11 at the moment.

Rang several stores around Birmingham area - none doing trade-ins until 11 Oct because staff haven't been trained yet.

Just phoned Derby they have xbox fifa 11 in stock £37.99

No luck in Asda washington, would only take the 3 games in the advert. Noticed today also that the price had gone up to £37. Went to costco instead and got it for £30

Queslett Rd, Great Barr store are doing trade ins as I traded in FIFA 10 last Friday without any problems. They had done loads that day and staff were definitely trained. HTH.
