Fifa 10 for the PS3 is trading in at ASDA for 15 quid, you can take 2 copies as well! Meaning you can get 30 pound in a gift card!
Cex are selling the game for 8 pounds at their local stores buy two copies! I took in two at my local branch and got 30 pound on a gift card! Meaning when I get the game tonight it would have cost me really 16 quid :j
Not all Asda stores take in trade games so ring your local to find out if they do!

Quick update get it even cheaper than 16!
Buy Fifa 2009 PS3 x 2 for 1.50 at Cex! Asda will give give 3.00 for each copy! 3.00 Profit!
Buy Fifa 2010 XBOX for 10.00 x 2! Asda will give 12.00 for each copy 4.00 profit
Combine that with the Fifa 10 trade in for the PS3 leaves you paying just 9 pounds for Fifa 11!0 -
I don't understand.
Oh wait, I do.0 -
If you trade in F1 2010 you can get it for 97p.0

I don't understand.
Buy those games from CEX! Then sell them to Asda who will give you trade in value on a gift card!
Example
You buy Fifa 10 for 8 pounds, Sell it to Asda for 15 pounds on a gift card. Buy two copies to maximize profit!
16.00 your spend for two copies! 30.00 Return at Asda! When you buy Fifa 11 it means you just paid 16.00 for it! Get it?0 -
I don't understand.
I am not a trader but as I understand if you have a CEX shop near you, you can buy games cheaply there and then sell them to your Asda (if your Asda does trade ins).
You just need your Asda to confirm the second hand trade in prices (as op has done) and then go to cex buy them (as per ops suggested purchase) then go to Asda quickly whilst the price is still active and get your money.
edit - you are just making a profit buying from one and selling to another but op suggests your profit is put towards Fifa 11.0 -
I understand.
What is the best combination?0 -
I understand.
What is the best combination?
A quick heads up Asda trade in prices change on a Saturday! So we all should be able to do this! Check to see if your local store is accepting trade ins!
Best option is buying Fifa 10 x 2 on the PS3 from Cex, then giving to Asda for 30.00 on a gift card!

So CEX will sell for £8 and ASDA will buy for £15.
That's the crux of it.0 -

I've done similar with Gamestation & CEX.
Used CEX to check their trade in prices on some games that were gathering dust, then took them to GS - got them to price match everything except Tiger Woods 08.
Last week I took Fifa 10 in and they offered me £5, until I pointed out that CEX were buying for £12 and they ended up giving me £13 credit.
Even took a game in that I paid 97p for a year ago and got £2 for it today!
As it stands, I've managed to get £38 credit so far and am trading in 2 more games tomorrow, automatically giving me a £5 discount before I use my credit.0
