Bargain train tickets to London

Hello all never posted before but thought i needed to let people know of the bargain trip me an the girlfriend had to London

I needed cheap tickets from Newcastle to London but the cheapest i could get was £209 way out of my price range so tried a few tips from you savvy moneysavers I got some off Ebay for the grand price of £30 all in but i did have a problem. They were hexham to london advances changing at newcastle so used a few tips from you top people and got some singles from manors to newcastle on the of chance i got stopped at newcastle but the gate fella looked at me manors singles and let me and the lass on to the platform

So thanks everybody over £150 saving and keep checking ebay they don't remove all tickets

    Wow, you have more neck than a 2 headed giraffe, what you have done has broken loads of railway rules, you are lucky you got away with it.

    A warning to others, the OP in theory 'defrauded the railways' which could have resulted in penalty fare or worse.

    How on earth did you get a price of £209 for Newcastle to London tickets. That's the walk up price for tickets for travelling today.
  • livingthedream dont try dont get. Stupid railways i went to the station my tickets were checked by a revenue bloke at the gate and checked again on the train. So my tickets must have been ok so i cant see how i defrauded anybody

    alanrowell some bloke in the ticket office gave me that price
