you have to pay for text and theres no telling how theyre going to use your number.
Beware of text scams
I'm not saying this one is a scam but I advise to tread carefully here.
Since I was ripped off by a scam and was forced to change my number (lots of hassle) I never give out my mobile number to any organisations

By the way, the one which ripped me off was sms.ac avoid them like the plague
