    i totally see where you're coming from but its just the fact that some at least is interested. i got a call today from someone on ebay saying they wanted me to drive to devon so she could view the car..thats a long way, i guess if she 100% bought id do it tho

    If you drive all that way on your own petrol the chances are she'll be trying to knock you wayyyyy down on price.

    ^^ The dealerships have really suckered people in lately with warranties (which are mostly worthless) and fancy sales techniques, people are also paranoid about being ripped off (thanks to the TV and media) so it's really tough selling cars private now.

    Ironically as we see time and time again, dealerships are nothing but a ball ache once they've got your signature on that dotted line.
    For some reason a nice polished showroom and big fancy signage suddenly turns a dodgy car dealer into a super reliable and trustworthy proposition for the 2nd biggest purchase of our life times.... Magic showrooms where's even the worst bu11sh1t becomes believable.
