National Insurance Small Earnings Exception

Hello,
I'm now registered as Self Employed and have been sent a form for a Small Earnings Exception Certificate.
One problem though, the form states "you are eligible for National Insurance Contributions if you are age 16 or older". I am 15 but will be 16 before the end of the tax year (in November). Should I send this form off now or wait until I turn 16?
Thank you.

Why not phone your local HMRC office and ask them? Or the number given with the form you've been sent. They're usually very friendly and helpful!
Good luck - excellent initiative at 15, wish I could get my 14 yo to do a paper round even!Signature removed for peace of mind0
