Can I opt out of the stupid eBay Basket...?

I won something on 4th September for a fiver. The seller wanted £50 for it, so I negged them after a lot of rude emails. It remains unpaid, case opened and then closed etc.
Anyway, just went to buy something for a few quid and it wont let me pay for the new item as it says this:
Some items in your cart require separate payments.
There are no boxes to untick to remove the item from Sept 4th and it sys I HAVE to pay for them before it lets me pay for the item I bought today.
This eBay basket is the biggest load of annoying bollox I've known!
Also, how do I Buy it Now and then pay later on? As it just adds the item to the basket and says in a very patronising way that the item isnt yours until you pay for it.
Any help/tips/ideas, apply within.

- All of your items are still saved in your shopping cart, but you'll be paying for the items listed below first.
- After completing checkout for these items, you'll be asked to check out again to pay for your remaining items.

Yes apparently you can. You must have opted in at some point. Apparently you can opt out on the shopping basket page.

I must have been selected at random to use it, as I just had to "opt in" to then "opt out". Stupid thing is sooo irritating!
Just been on the phone to eBay and they are getting a million calls about how crap this basket idea is!
Because the "opt out" button wasnt on my page it means I was one of the many random people chosen to test it, but it should be removed in 2-3 days. What suck fukwits!0 -
Did you get an NPB strike for that harvey?I'm not bad at golf, I just get better value for money when I take more shots!0

A NPB for what? The original item from Sept 4th? No, why would I? When they wouldnt sell the item to me for my winning bid?0
