Virgin call centre told me I'd pay a fee - which I accepted because it would have been capped at £35 and on a £15k transfer it would have been worth it. But in the event no fee was ever charged to my statement. Maybe their computer knows the rules even if their call centre staff don't.

Well, I've taken the plunge into 'stoozing'.:)

In the past 3 days I received the cards from Virgin & Egg. I phoned both of them today (using http://www.saynoto0870.com/and http://www.call18866.co.uk/ ) and asked to do a Balance Transfer to my Bank Account. No problem from either company ... did it there and then and no fees from either.:D

This will be transferred elsewhere as soon I receive it, to gain the benefits of using someone else's money to make money.

Just waiting for Halifax Card to come now.

I was pleased to find out about the Egg Anniversary Offer - http://new.egg.com/visitor/0,,3_66550--View_1389,00.html - I think I'll keep their card and keep repeating the BT's when I can, seeing as I have a nice Credit Limit from them.:D
