Yes please to the cap! As Organic12 said, strands of hair in the pool are awful! For me, I have ear plugs (I thought I was getting Swimmers' Ear), goggles, nose plug (the chlorine was giving me hay fever!!), and cap (and costume, of course). I get little childen staring at me in fear and wonderment, but I'm as covered up as I can be. (And I do have died hair so don't want to get cholorine on it).

Lol- its 'dyed' rather then 'died' hair I hope! (unless that was a Freudian slip and your cap isn't working...!)0 -

May look very snorkle like but I have seen people in my gym wearing similar and they don't really raise an eyebrow- people tend to be more aware of their exercise/swimming lanes rather then anyone elses head gear.0 -
Thanks for all the advice guys - have just bought myself a new cossie - not cheap (£60!!!) but I figured that to go regularly its important to feel comfortable and confident. The one I have bought is a lovely fifties style Esther Williams one, black with white polka dots, and its very nice!:D
It also rises to the challenge of holding everything in and up, which is admirable when you see what it is contending with!! :rotfl:0
